On January 21, 2008 news agency Reuters quoted an interview by Human Rights Watch with freelance journalist Per Bjørklund, stating that after a demonstration organized by the Egypt opposition network Kifaya at least 10 people were arrested by the police ((Reuters | Egypt: Government Shuts Down Protest Following Bush Visit)). One of these, to whom Bjørklund had spoken, was a blogger called Muhammad Gamal.
Neither Gamals identity or blog nor his arrest have been confirmed up to now.
